Apply to the EuPhO 2026 organizing committee!

Do you want to organize the best and most fun physics event in Sweden next year?

Application to the EuPhO 2026 organizing committee is open until July 27th, but selection and interviews will be ongoing. We will select two people for each position. You can apply by sending us your CV and a short letter/message about why you think you would be a good fit for the EuPhO 2026 organizing committee and if you have a preferred role.

Competition area team lead

You will be responsible for the competition hall at Chalmers. This includes to make sure that the hall is ready for the competition in time and to lead the work with arranging all the seats, booths as well as distributing the experimental equipment.

Grading and moderation

You will be responsible for the grading and moderation computer systems. You will assist the graders and the Academic Committee with any technical issues they may face during the event.

Printing and scanning

You will be responsible for printing the translated exams and distributing them to the correct seats before the competition starts. After the competition, you will make sure that the exams are scanned and sent to the graders.

Leader excursion guide

You will bring the leaders on their excursions, communicate with the bus driver and the guides at the activities and make sure that nobody gets left behind! 

Entertainment team lead

You will be responsible for planning the opening and closing ceremonies. There will be music, singing, dancing, speeches and decorations!

PR team lead

You will work together with two journalists and two photographers to produce the EuPhO newsletter during the event. The newsletter must be printed and distributed among participants. You will also keep in contact with other local and national media and promote EuPhO 2026, and be responsible for the EuPhO website and social media during the event.

Photographer

You will follow the students and/or leaders on their activities and excursions and take photos for the EuPhO newsletter and website.

Journalist

You will follow the students and/or leaders on their activities and excursions and write articles for the EuPhO newsletter and website.
